Report obstacles and advocate for changes

Your association or club could experience unsafe, unpleasant walking spaces. Maker a note and see if there is a solution. Take pictures of the situation.

• Find out who is in charge (often someone from the municipality) and make a report. Via email, phone, twitter or just approach someone.

• In the absence of adequate response, even after a reminder, report it again.

• Copy your request to others who are  responsible. Also, find out why the response was inadequate. You strategize how to move forward.

• No result? Then send your message to the chief executive or a politician and to the media.
